British soldier killed in Basra

One British soldier was killed and other four injured in a bomb explosion in Basra, south Iraq.
The killing of the soldier and the wounding of others in a bomb in their armored car Land-Rover type was confirmed by the spokesman of the British defense office in London.
Meantime, the director of operations romm at the Iraqi defense ministry announced lt. gen. Abdul Aziz Muhammad Jasem announced on Sunday that the "iron curtain operation" in west Iraq on the border with Syria ended by the killing of "136 rebellions and the detention of other 256."
