Peace advocates criticize US pressures against syria

Italian Peace Advocate Alberto Kantoni criticized the increasing US pressures against Syria.

Kantoni, the author of "Eagle Flying for Peace" book told reporters that these pressures are unjustified and unfair as well as they come within the framework of the US strategy for the Middle East and the whole world as well.

"The USA has been seeking to achieve its interest at the expense of all other countries and peoples," Kantoni said, pointing out that the US campaigns against Syria have no justification and do not serve peace and stability in the region.

On the other hand, US peace advocate Reigin Ritz who is a member of Americans for Justice and Peace, demanded the United States to stop exerting pressures on Syria.

"The USA should stop making contradictory statements and knows very well that its borders with Mexico are not totally controlled so it must stop throwing accusations against Syria," Ritz said.
