Developments of investigation in the Jordan explosions

Concerning the developments of investigation on Amman's explosions, news reports in Amman said that Sajedah Atrous al-Reishawi, the woman who is accused by the Jordanian authorities of being a member of the group which attacked three hotels in Amman, was arrested in al-Salat city after she had tried to resort to relatives of her sister. Her sister was married to the Jordanian Nidal Arabeyat, one of the main aides for Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida leader in Iraq.

The investigators continued interrogating the Iraqi woman al-Reishawi after he confessions were shown earlier on the government TV on Sunday evening, hours after her detention.

The same sources explained that al-Reishawi, who had stated that her bomb failed to detonate at the Radisson Sass hotel, did not give other important information, while she is still in a state of shock and did not talk much.

Investigations showed that al-Reishawi lost three of her brothers including Thamer al- Reishawi who is described as the right hand man of al-Zarqawi at the hands of the American forces in Iraq.

Meantime, the number of the victims of the Amman's explosions increased to 58 with the death of one American who was injured during the explosions after he was in a coma since the explosions took place. Thereby the number of Americans killed in the explosion increased to four.
