Qathafi receives warm welcome in Tunisia

JANA reported today that The Tunisian people continued their warm reception and great hospitality in welcoming the Libyan leader Muammar al-Qathafi in the state of Gabes. The Tunisian people in this state offered the Leader of the Revolution a "gift a she camel and its baby camel in an expression of their overwhelming joy for his presence among them and their pride of the noble values that he preaches."

JANA said "The Governor of Gabes and a number of senior official in the state presented this gift during their reception of the Leader who was accompanied by the General Secretary of the Democratic constitutional assembly Alhadi Mahani
On leaving the city of Gabes and all along the road to the city of Qairawan the Tunisian people gathered holding green flags and banners welcoming the Leader expressing deep brotherly historic ties between the Tunisian and Libyan people."

the report said that on the Qatahfi's arrival in the city of Qairawan, the Governor and Mayor of the city and senior official in the state were at his reception In honor of the Leader's arrival to this historical city animals were slaughtered according to the popular traditions in the city. Such tumultuous welcome continued up to the arrival of the leader to the place of his residence in Tunis Tuesday evening.
