People organizations warn against threats on Syria

Popular organizations in Syria warned on Tuesday against risks of pressures and threats aimed at Syria via manipulating the international resolution for the interests of the US and Israeli schemes and alliances.

In a statement on the Correctionist Movement 35th anniversary, (when former Syrian President hafez al-Assad came to power in 1970 ) popular organizations lashed out at pressures and threats targeting Syria to "divide the Arab world and subjugate it to serve these allies and schemes by depending on a Lebanese forces hiding behind mottos of independence and sovereignty as to incite the public opinion against Syria and her pan-Arab inclinations as well to strike the Lebanese national resistance."

The statement said that putting pressure at Syria is not aimed for Lebanon's sake, but rather to make Syria and the Arab region abide by colonial projects of hegemony and accept the occupation of Palestine, Iraq and Golan as well Shabaa Lebanese farms.

The popular organizations called upon ranks rallying and holding responsibility to confront pressures and threats through boosting the national unity and popular coherence to be sincere to Syria's Correctionist movement and loyal to her and to president al-Assad.

They pointed out that Syria would remain, "the nation unreachable fortress to, and the title of national and pan-Arab pride," noting that Syria is strong in her national unity that challenged storms and remained disobedient to conspirators and aggressors.

The statement urged the world liberals and popular organizations as well syndicates "to deepen their stances supporting Syria's steadfastness while facing the aggressive schemes."
