Two contractors killed in Iraq

Continued armed operations in Iraq took place, one of them resulted in killing two contractors from South Africa working in the field of security in a bomb explosions on a road near the Green Zone area in the center of Baghdad.
Three others: one American, one Iraqi and one from south Africa were injured, two of them in critical health conditions.
In another incident, 6 civilians were killed and other 30 injured when a similar bomb went off near two passenger busses in al-Ramadi city which is situated 100 km to the west of the Iraqi capital.
On the other hand, the police said that three police were killed and other four injured when one bomb that went off in a crowded trade street east of Baghdad.
In another development one Iraqi university teacher and his driver were killed in an attack launched by gunmen, and the Imam of a Sunni mosque was killed in gunmen attack and his driver was killed because he approached one American military convoy.
In Baghdad also, one former officer in the Iraqi army was killed together with his son by gunmen bullets, according to the ministry of defense.
In the same context a statement by the American army said that the air raids carried out by the American and Iraqi forces west of Iraq on the border with Syria and resulted in killing 50 gunmen.
