Syrian detainee receives proposal to give false testimony

A lawyer revealed that his client, Lui Saqqa, a Syrian detainees at the Turkish prisons received an offer for giving a false testimony regarding Former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq al-Hariri's assassination in exchange for a large sum of money.
Lawyer, Osman Karahan, said in a televised program broadcast by al-Jazeera satellite TV last night that some foreigners visited the detainee at his prison and asked him to tell the international investigator in Hariri's assassination that a Syrian security official allegedly asked him to bring a suicide Iraqi bomber to declare his responsibility of the crime.
