Larijani: Iran will not be intimidated by threats of referral to Security Council
Iran-UK, Politics, 11/9/2005
Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani said threats of Iran's nuclear case being referred to the United Nations Security Council will not scare Iran, IRNA reported.
He made the remark during a question and answer session with a number of international law experts on the second day of the 13th International Conference on Central Asia and Caucasus which kicked off Monday.
IRNA said "Larijani further said that threats of Iran being referred to the UN Security Council can never be an effective tool to make it relinquish its indisputable rights."
IRNA said "Turning to the remarks of British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who along with his master George W. Bush are now strongly working to have Iran referred to the Security Council, he said such remarks have all been part of media propaganda as no documents have been introduced to prove the negative claims against Iran made by British officials in these past months."
