Petroleum investments in Syria promising, CEO of APICORP says

Chief Executive and General Manager of Arab Petroleum Investment Corp (APICORP ) Ahmad al- Naeemi said Tuesday that the future of petroleum in Syria is promising, particularly if new gas and oil fields are explored through investing new areas in Syria.
"APICORP contributes to backing a number of gas and oil projects in Syria... the company seeks to fund new projects such as financing the first phase of the Arab Gas Pipeline and a factory of tackling Gas in the southern and center areas of Syria," APICORP Chief Executive told SANA following a seminar on Gas and Oil Investment in Syria.
"Investment atmosphere in Syria is encouraging... this was proven through the work of international companies in Syria and the big facilities offered to them," Naeemi added.
He said that Syria is considered as a member of APICORP and enjoys the support of the company for the all gas and oil projects it seeks.
