Message from al-Assad to Jordanian King

Syria's President Basahar al-Assad has sent on Monday King Abdullah II of Jordan a message on standing developments in the region, and the international investigating committee on assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri as well the UN Security Council resolution 1636.

For his part, King Abudullah of Jordan conveyed his best greetings and wishes to President Assad announcing "Jordan's readiness to stand by Syria as a government and people as well supporting her positions." Deputy Foreign Minister Walid al-Mouallem who handed the message to the Jordanian King, renewed "Syria's readiness to cooperate with the International investigating committee in a professional way, far from manipulating the committee's aims to political ends aimed at targeting the region stability."
