Different attacks continue to take place in Iraq

Attacks continued in various parts of Iraq, the last of which resulted in the killing of nine Iraqis including six police members and injuring other scores, including civilians in a booby trapped car explosion targeted a police vehicle in al-Doura area south of Baghdad.

The attack took place hours after another attack by mortars shelling in al-Mustansereyah quarters in the downtown of Baghdad resulted in killing five Iraqis and injuring other 8, while 6 Iraqis were killed in separate attacks including two Iraqi soldiers in a booby trapped car explosion near Karkouk.
