Four US soldiers killed in Iraq

The American army said that four of its soldiers were killed and other three injured in attacks carried out by gunmen in various areas of Iraq.

In another attack, one Iraqi was killed and other three injured in a bomb explosion targeting an American convoy west of Karkouk. Two civilians were injured when one mortar shelling fell inside the strongly fortified Green Zone in the center of Baghdad.

The Iraqi police found the body of one Iraqi murdered southwest of Baghdad. A source in the Iraqi police said that the killed man was working in the costumes department on the Syrian border.
