Syrian judicial committee announces its headquarters and communication numbers

Syrian Judicial Committee announced Friday its headquarters, phone and fax numbers. and E-mail to receive any information regarding the assassination of Lebanese former Premier Rafik Hariri.

The Syrian Committee's address is Damascus, Mezza, Villat Sharqeah, behind Teachers' Syndicate- al-Dawha Str. Build. 19. Telephone: 00963 11 6135244 Fax: 00963 11 6135245 E-Mail: SYRADJUSTIC@MIAL.SY It will launch this headquarters as from Sunday 6/11/2005.

The Syrian Arab Republic Attorney, General Ghada Mourad, told SANA, the committee held a meeting at one O'clock this afternoon of Nov 3, 2005, and started its task assigned by the legislative decree which is to embark on inspection with civil and military Syrians connected to the international investigating committee formed according to UN Security Council resolution 1595 in 7, 4 2005.

" The committee has reviewed the first report presented by the judge Mr. Detlev Mehlis to the UN Security Council and deliberated on the subject then decided to ask concerned parties to provide it with organizing minutes when listening to Syrians," the Judge Mourad said.

She clarified that the committee would coordinate and deal with the international investigating committee as well the Lebanese judicial authorities over doing its task to uncover the truth over the assassination crime.

Mourad hoped that every one who has information on the assassination crime of late Rafik al-Hariri would provide the Syrian committee with them either by coming personally to its headquarter or by calling via phones, faxes or email, stressing that the committee would keep in a state of nonstop convention.

The committee included in addition to Mrs. Mourad, the Military Attorney General Brigadier General Goerge Tahaan and President of the Judicial Inspection Administration Taysir Qala Awad.
