Syria sets free 190 political prisoners

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad issued an amnesty on Wednesday, whereby 160 political prisoners were freed, in line with the comprehensive reform policy that aims at strengthening national unity, SANA reported.
SANA said it learned that "there are more steps and measures to come in that connection on the basis that the homeland embraces all."
