More Americans, Iraqis killed in Iraq

The number of American soldiers killed in Iraq increased to three during the three past days. A statement by the American army announced the killing of one soldier on Thursday, when his vehicle was hit by an explosive during his participation in a security operation in Baqouba north of Baghdad.
Thereby number of American soldiers killed in Iraq reached 2037 since the invasion of this country in 2003.
The Islamic army group in Iraq clamed in a registered video tape, a snipping operation against an American soldier in the capital.
The group considered the tape as a gift of Eid al- Fiter holiday for the Muslims. The tape showed pictures for American soldiers killed, according to the group, by the bullets of the sniper who is called "Juba."
A statement attributed to al-Qaida in Iraq claimed responsibility for downing one America helicopter in al-Ramadi, west of Baghdad on Wednesday and this resulted in killing two American marines.
In other different attacks in Iraq, the Iraqi police said it found 11 desolved bodies in a water filtering station in al-Rustomeyah quarters, east of Baghdad. It added that some of these bodies were beheaded and others are shot by bullets and all were for civilians.
Despite the reinforcement of security measures in the capital, two members of a special group for the Iraqi police were killed on Thursday in al-Doura south of Baghdad during fire exchange with gunmen.
On the other hand, press sources in Falluja said that nine members of the national guards were killed in an ambush implanted by gunmen for their convoy which is composed of several vehicles near the city.
The sources said that the gunmen were able to kidnap some members in the Iraqi army and took them to unknown destination. One officer in the Iraqi army was killed and three soldiers injured in armed attack north of Baghdad.
