Morocco calls for releasing of its two hostages in Iraq
Morocco-Iraq, Politics, 11/4/2005
The Moroccan government deplored what it described the "barbaric behaviors which contradict with the teaching of Islam," commenting on a statement attributed to al-Qaida organization in Iraq, which announced determination to execute the two Moroccan hostages.
The Moroccan minister of information Nabil Bin Abdullah called for unconditional release of Abdul Rahim Bu'lam (55year old) the driver in the Moroccan embassy in Baghdad and his colleague, the maintenance worker at the embassy Abdul Karim al-Muhafizi ( 49 year old).
Earlier, a statement by al-Qaida organization confirmed what it called the legal course in the organization to kill "unbelievers." Once again the statement threatened all governments that they would be targeted at their diplomatic missions in Iraq.
