Iran invited to Iraq reconciliation conference

Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmad Bin Hilli has invited Iran to attend the Solidarity Congress of Iraq, saying the league attaches special importance to Iran's presence in the congress, IRNA reported today.

Hilli, moreover, said that Iran wields a very constructive and important position in Iraqi developments. He said senior heads of the Baath Party are not invited to the congress.
