Arab and foreign reaction to UN resolution against Syria

A Tunisian newspaper criticized on Tuesday the double standards policy that is used by super powers in dealing with international issues.
The UN Security Council called on Syria yesterday to fully cooperate with the international committee on assassination of former Lebanese Premier and Syria renewed her total cooperation in this respect.
Al-Sabah daily denounced the foreign ministers of great powers internationalizing the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri at a time they kept silent over Israel's prevention in 2002 of international investigators to do their job over inspecting Jenin massacre in the West Bank, But more than that, Israel dared to expel neutral observers of international human rights organizations.
" It becomes difficult after the evidence in the world to delude the international public opinion on of who is practicing this violation on the ground and changing the map of Palestine and the Arab countries."
In Belgrade, Deputy President of the Radical Serb Party Tomislave Nicolic announced solidarity with the Syrian people against pressures made by some international parties against her.
He noted in a statement to SANA reporter that "these pressures target Syria's freedom, sovereignty and the independent inclination Syria is adopting."
In Beirut, Party of al-Itihad had condemned the political exploitation of the assassination of former Lebanese Premier warning against western targeting of Syria and its risky results on the region security.
In a statement, the party said a Western countries have formed an alliance for security and political blackmailing making use of Hariri crime to weaken the last sites of Arab steadfastness embodied in Syria.
The party noted that what happened in Iraq of making use of the international institutions under a big lie which is Weapons of Mass Destruction is repeating again this time to get at Syria's role and her pan-Arab stances.
For his part, President of the Popular Assembly of Akkar in northern Lebanon, Wajih Al-Barini, said that any danger Syria is exposed to is a danger on Lebanon, noting that it was not allowed to use Lebanon as courtyard for conspiring against Syria.
He called in a statement, to ranks as to face the US and foreign attacks to protect her existence and protect al-Taif accord as well to bolster Syria's steadfastness in face of plotted conspiracies.
" Foreign forces have went so far and interfered in the interior Lebanese affairs. The best example of that is the report of UN Special Envoy to the Middle East Terji Roed Larsen," he said.
