Rafsanjani denounces pressures on Syria

Senior Iranian official rejected on Friday US pressures and threats on Syria and Lebanon asserting that, "these pressures will only make things more complicated in the region and the world as they will not bring the expected result."
Chairman of the Iranian Expediency Council Hashemi Rafsanjani said at Friday prayers at Tehran University. Meantime, member of the Tunisia Consolatory Council al-Mounseif al-Shabi said the report of Mehlis on assassination of former Lebanese Premier did not aim except for putting pressures on Syria.
