Alleviated Lebanese border measures

News reports in Lebanon said that the Lebanese army lessened the restrictions it had imposed three days ago on bases for the Palestinian organizations People's Front For Liberation Of Palestine - General Command and the Fatah Intifada uprising near the Lebanese borders with Syria, following the killing of one Lebanese surveyor who was demarcating the borders.

On the other hand, the Lebanese justice investigation judge to the assassination of Rafiq al-Hariri, Elias Eid, on Friday issued a warrant of arrest against Ahmad Abdul Al whose name was mentioned in the report of the UN investigations committee and therefore number of persons detained according to judicial warrant of arrest reached 12.

Judicial sources said that the judicial investigator in the case interrogated on Friday Ahmad Abdul Al who was detained in the case of the discovery of a weapons shelter in Beirut several months ago, and a memorandum of arrest was issued against him.

The detention of Ahmad Abdul Al came one day after the detention of his brother Mahmoud, both of them are members of al-Ahbash movement, because the name of the latter was mentioned in Mehlis UN investigation report which indicated that telephone calls was made by the telephone of the President of the Republic Emil Lahoud before the explosion and after it with Lebanese intelligence officer.
