Jebril describes UN - Hariri report as political
Lebanon-Palestine, Politics, 10/24/2005

Secretary General of Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, General Commandment, Ahmad Jebril, described the UN report on the investigation on the killing of former Lebanese Premier Rafiq al-Hariri as a political report and holds many contradictions and mysteries.

Jebril condemned in a statement to the Syrian newspaper of Tishreen published Sunday the false accusations against Syria according to the report and said "the US administration pushed Syria into the case and turned it from local into international case with the aim of increasing pressures on Syria."

"America escalates pressures on Syria due to its stances towards the American administration and towards all Arab and regional issues, particularly the Palestinian cause and the so-called the Greater Middle East Project which was created by the US administration to ensure its vital interests in the region especially to control oil wells in Iraq and Afghanistan," Jebril concluded.
