Dardari meets students about economic change

Syria's Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdullah al-Dardari stressed that improving the Syrian education system in Syria is one of the most important standards of human development and priorities in the 10th 5-year plan.
In a meeting with Damascus university students overnight, Dardari briefed the audience on the aims of the 5-year plan, its strategy and mechanism an how to transfer from a profitable to competitive economy and from a closed economy to a one open to the world economy.
He pointed out to necessity of giving priority to convertible industries as it is a main component for growth of the national product.
Dardari indicated the role of agriculture, mining industries, water, electricity, money, real estates and transport in raising the level of national product, adding that the problem of investment in Syria is competency not size.
