Libyans protests against Bush call to release Bulgarian nurses
Libya-USA, Politics, 10/19/2005

Hundreds of Libyans demonstrated on Tuesday in protest to the call made by the American President George W. Bush to Tripoli to release five Bulgarian women nurses who were sentenced to death under the charge of transferring AIDS/HIV to 400 children of whom 50 so far are dead.

During a demonstration before the UN building in Tripoli, members of families and relatives of the effected children accused Bush of defending criminals and supporting terrorism and demanded him to apologize. They urged the Libyan foreign ministry to freeze contacts with Washington.
