Abul Ghait for not prejudging UN Hariri assasination report
Egypt-Lebanon, Politics, 10/19/2005
Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmad Abu al-Ghait called for not prejudging the findings of the ongoing investigations into the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri before announcing the result.
"There are many rumors, but it's not necessary that what has been circulating is true," Abul Ghait said in a statement Tuesday. He pointed out that Egypt is not willing to give the opportunity for an additional tension point in the Middle East, adding that his country is working hard to control the situation and prevent deterioration.
