$1.7 billion Egyptian exports to Arab states and COMESA

The value of Egypt's exports to Arab markets within Arab free trade zone last year wave estimated at 1.290 billion compared with imports of $918 million.
"The volume of Egyptian exports to COMESA bloc countries amounted to $373 million," said Abdel-Rahman Fawzy, Foreign trade and Industry first under Secretary, adding that Egypt imports from COMESA countries were valued at $268 million.
Khaled Hamza chairman of exportation and importation committee at the Egyptian Businessmen Association, highlighted the importance of making use of agreements signed by Egypt with COMESA bloc, European union and Arab states.
