Egyptian-Libyan summit cordial

Egypt's Presidential spokesman Soliman Awwad described the summit meeting between President Hosni Mubarak and Libyan Leader Muammar al-Qathafi on Sunday as cordial. He told MENA that the summit centered on probing Arab issues, particularly those of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, the Palestinian territories and Darfur.
The spokesman added that the two Arab leaders also focused on means of enhancing bilateral ties in all fields. This is Mubarak's second visit to Tripoli in two months. The Egyptian leader visited the Libyan capital on August 15 to attend a three-way summit that also included Algerian President Abdel Aziz Boutaflika.
