The Independent: Iraqis call for British troops departure

A British newspaper reported on Tuesday the Iraqi population were demanding the going away of foreign forces from Basra, southern Iraq, as well they call to hand over the two British soldiers arrested by Iraqi police and set free by British troops.
The Independent interviewed many Iraqi citizens in Basra who asserted that "the occupied foreign troops must leave their land, and respect as well the law in Iraq."
