Tishreen: Specialized tourist Airlines to be allowed in syria

Syria's Transport Ministry has ambitious plans and future programs scheduled to be a turning point in the field of land, air and maritime transport, Tishreen daily on Monday quoted the Transport Minister as saying.
Makram Obeid said "Airlines that are specialized in tourist and tourist groups transport will be allowed soon in Syria."
"Preparations for launching project of the air taxi are going on. The air taxi is a small airplane that transport passengers among the Syrian governorates with headquarters in Mezza airport," Obeid added.
This step comes in the framework of developing the air transport sector in Syria to match the latest developments that the world is witnessing in this field, the report said.
