Value of oil sector exports of oil, natural gas and petrochemicals increased during the fiscal year 2004/2005 to L.E.32 billion compared to L.E.25.6 billion in the FY 2003-2004, up 31%.

Participants in the Rally of the Pharaohs covered a distance of 3,282 kilometers in Egypt's desert through a competition that continued for six days. The rally kicked off on October 2nd, 2005, at the Pyramids area in Giza.
