Abbas - Sharon meeting postponed

A meeting between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon due on Tuesday has been postponed indefinitely.
IRNA reported that "The meeting, the first since the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, had been postponed at least once due to chronic mistrust between the two sides and Israel's insistence that Palestinians heed Israeli dictates. PA official Nabil Abu Rudeina said more time was needed to prepare for a successful meeting."
