Egyptian-Jordanian-Bahraini summit in Cairo

President Hosni Mubarak meets Monday with King Abdallah II of Jordan and King Hamad bin Isa of Bahrain in a three-way summit at an Iftar banquet hosted by the President. The three-way summit will deal with the latest developments in the region in the light of Israel's withdrawal from Gaza.
The summit will also discuss conditions in Iraq and means to maintain unity of Iraq and territorial integrity, in addition to pressures exercised on Syria, means to close Arab ranks and crystallize a unified vision vis-a-vis the challenges facing the Arab nation. The trilateral Summit is expected also to tackle means to bolster economic relations and exchange of Arab investments.
