Moussa asserts importance of Iraq visit

Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa asserted on Wednesday the importance of the decision taken by Iraq committee held in Jeddah as regards his visit to Iraq, pointing out that it is taking place amidst critical conditions. In press statements, Moussa said this decision was taken in light of the various possibilities as regards the future of Iraq, a matter which requires the Arab League's prompt intervention.
He added that this visit aims at pushing forward the political process to the best interest of the Iraqi people through reaching a comprehensive national reconciliation under the auspices of the Arab League.
