Syrian humanitarian aid to Iraq

The Syrian people's humanitarian aid convoy offered to the Iraqi people left this morning for Iraq. Minister of State for Syrian Red Crescent Organization, Bashar Shaar, said in a statement that the aid which is being transported by the Syrian Red Crescent in cooperation with Dutch Red Cross, came in response to the Iraqi Red Crescent and in solidarity with the Iraqi brothers.
He pointed out that "this is the fifth convoy carrying humanitarian aid to the brotherly people in Iraq and is comprised of 500 tents to shelter the displaced people, victims of the military operations."
