Iraq's middle class life disintegrate amid war; religious hatred
Iraq, Politics, 10/6/2005
A report by the New York Times on Iraq painted a stark picture of the disintegration of the middle class life amid the war, and how Shiites and Sunnis, who used to intermarry frequently before the war, as previous New York Times reports documented, no longer intermarry and are driven by new hate for each other.
The New York Times report "Middle-Class Family Life in Iraq Withers Amid the Chaos of War" was published on Oct 2.
