Syria and Iran discuss pressures and cooperation

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad discussed on Wednesday with senior Iranian officials "pressures that Syria and Iran are exposed, to and cooperation between the two countries over conferred issues."
The president received at al-Rawda Palace Secretary of the Iranian Higher Council for National Security, Ali Larijani, in the presence of the Iranian ambassador in Damascus. Talks also dealt with the latest regional issues and "cooperation between Syria and Iran as well issues of mutual concern," a presidential statement said.
