Palestinian organization wants to keep weapons in camps in Lebanon
Lebanon-Palestine, Politics, 10/5/2005

The organization of the People's Front For Liberation of Palestine - General Command, which supports Syria and is led by Ahmad Jibril, criticized the "tightened besiege of several military positions in Lebanon."

In a statement circulated in Beirut, the organization held Foaud Sinioura directly responsibility for these "hostile" measures, and renewed rejection to dismantle its weapons in implementation for the UN resolution 1559, which states to dismantle the weapons of Hizbullah and the Palestinian groups in the camps.

Bases of the People's Front- General Command have been in Lebanon for 30 years and witnessed military reinforcements during the final Syrian withdrawal from Lebanon in April this year in compliance with UN resolution 1559 in this regard.
