The Sharia council and religious commissions in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Libya and Sudan announced the beginning of the fasting month today, Tuesday.
Certain countries, including Qatar were careful to unify the beginning of this holy month with other Islamic countries and this is to follow the steps of the neighboring states, while other countries like Oman, Turkey and Yemen cling to the result of the Sharia vision and decided that today ( Tuesday is to complete the Hijra month of Shaaban because the Hilal ( crescent moon) was not seen.
The citizens in the Arab states, where the beginning of the holy month proved to be today, carried out prayers in Mosques following "Supper prayers," while markets witnessed great rush by buyers to supply food needs.
