Syrian media source expresses concern over Gaza incidents

An official Syrian media source on Monday expressed Syria's sorrow and deep concern over the regretful incidents which took place yesterday between Palestinian brothers in Gaza.

"Those regretful events come under Israeli siege of Gaza Strip and continuous aggression on the Palestinian people...Palestinians should solve their disputes through dialogue in the frame of national unity and away of what could harm the Palestinian cause," the media source said in a statement.

It added that Israel's purpose is to instigate sedition among people of the same folk and weaken them in order to perpetuate occupation of the Palestinian territories.

"Syria, who stresses commitment to the Palestinian national unity, hopes all Palestinian institutions and factions contain the repercussions of these regretful incidents, boost joint work that contribute to unifying the Palestinian efforts to liberate the land and establish their independent state with Jerusalem its capital," the source added, SANA reported.
