Army denies the capture of two US soldiers by al-Qaida

The American army said on Sunday that there is nothing indicates to the capture of two marine soldiers at the hands of gunmen in the west of Iraq, adding that the coalition forces are investigating this matter.

In a statement issued on the Internet, al-Jihad Qaida organization in Iraq announced capturing two marine soldiers.

A statement issued by the organization's media spokesman Abu Maysara al-Iraqi said that the two seized soldiers were in one of the American vehicles taking part in the US military operations.

The al-Qaida organization gave a 24 hour grace period for the Americans to release the Muslim women in Iraqi prisons.
