Arab solidarity committees condemn pressures on Syria

Arab Solidarity Committees on Sunday rejected US unfair accusations and pressures being hatched against Syria, describing those accusations as baseless and false.

The committees, holding their annual meeting in the Yemeni city of Eden, added that the "US pressures on Syria aim at serving the Zionist plot in the region at the expense of Arab interests and rights. They called for supporting and showing solidarity with Syria to face the threats which target not only Syria but the Arab Nation as a whole."
