Eight killed in gas leack explosion in Saudi Arabia

A Saudi security source said that 8 persons, most of them are from Chad and Niger, were killed in an explosion resulting from gas leak in Jeddah city on the Red Sea.

The director general of the civil defense in Mecca area Adel Zamzami said that the gas leak caused an explosion, and a fire resulted in the collapse of two-storey house.

He explained that two Saudis, and four Nigerians including one child and, two children from Chile were killed in the explosion.
