Lebanese officials warn against foreign interventions

Lebanese Scholar, Sheikh Mohammad Hussein Fadlullah on Wednesday warned against dangers of foreign interventions in the Lebanese internal affairs. Fadlullah, in a weekly seminar said that "we know that pressures on Lebanon come in the service of the Israeli interests."
Meanwhile, Chairman of al-Najadah Party in Lebanon, Mustafa Hakim, criticized sending more than 100 experts from the US and France to Lebanon under the pretext of helping investigation into the assassination attempt which targeted Lebanese TV journalist Mai Shidyak.
"Combating the series of bombings and acts of assassination require a Lebanese accord on national principles which reject foreign mandate and intervention in the internal affairs," Hakim said in a statement.
