David Hale appointed US ambassador in Jordan

The spokesman for the White House said on Thursday that President George W. Bush chose David Hale, the experienced diplomat in the Arab affairs to be the US ambassador in Jordan.
At the meantime, Hale occupied the post of the second secretary in the American embassy in Amman. He was appointed temporarily in this post since July 2004. Earlier he was appointed a director for the Israeli- Palestinian affairs office at the US foreign department. He was also the second official in the American embassy in Beirut and the US envoy to the UN. He started wok for the US Department Of State in 1984.
