Syria and the Palestinian Authority discussed on Wednesday prospects of launching communications between them.
A Palestinian official delegation talked on arrangements for a Palestinian delegation visit to Syria to put down a detailed study to reach an agreement that launches communications between the two sides.
The Palestinian Minister of Communication and Data Technology, Sabri Saem, clarified in a meeting with Syrian counterpart Mohammed Bashir al-Mounajjed that the visit of the Palestinian delegation will be at the beginning of next month to focus on details to open communications via stable phones and mobiles.
He noted that the delegation would also discuss guaranteeing post transfer between the two sides via the Egyptian mediator across Rafah passage that would be under the Palestinian sovereignty.
For his part, al-Mounajjed underscored the need to reactivate cooperation between the two sides "as well boosting ties of fraternity between the two sisterly peoples in their interests."
