Palestinian killed by Israeli soldiers

One young Palestinian died on Tuesday because of wounds he had after the Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire at young Palestinians which resulted in wounding other five near Hebron in the West bank.

Palestinian security and medical sources said that the occupation soldiers opened fire to disperse demonstrators who threw stones in Taffouh village, west Hebron.

For her part, a spokeswoman for the Israeli army said the Israeli soldiers used riot-fighting squads to disperse the Palestinians who hit one Israeli soldier with stones.

This came a short time after an explosion, whose reasons were not known, in one Israeli town near Gaza. Israeli military sources said that the explosion which took place in the southern part of Natif Heisara resulted in no casualties.
