Arab League criticizes pressures against Syria

Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa strongly criticized pressures and threats against Syria, stressing the Arab states' support to her in facing those baseless campaigns.

"Syria has the right to preserve its security, future and territorial integrity... any attempt to harm Syria will be a big mistake.. and any incorrect policy against her could in a way lead to a large fire in the Arab nation," Moussa said in a lecture in London yesterday. The Arab League Chief, who was in London upon invitation from the Arab Club there, clarified the trueness of Syrian stance toward Iraq, adding that Syria repeatedly reiterated she has no relation with what is going on in there.
