Arab League calls for comprehensive Israeli withdrawal
Regional-Palestine, Politics, 9/13/2005
The Arab League on Monday demanded Israel withdraw from all the occupied Arab lands as of the June 4th, 1967 line, pointing out that the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza Strip must be a first step towards the comprehensive and complete withdrawal, according to the international resolutions and the Arab peace initiative.
"All the Arabs have adopted the comprehensive and just peace according to the Arab peace initiative which approved by Arab Summit of Beirut 2002.... the initiative puts the principles and the general framework for just and comprehensive peace in the region on the bases of the international resolutions and land-for-peace principle," Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League for the Palestinian affairs Sa'ed Kamal said in a statement. Kamal called the Palestinian people to unify and close ranks in facing the dangers.
