Great election victory for Mubarak, very low participation
Chairman of the higher committee for the Presidential elections in Egypt advisor Mamdouh Meree announced that the candidate of the ruling democratic national party, President Hosni Mubarak, won a fifth term of office for 6 years at a rate of 88.6% of the votes. Only 23 % of the those eligible to vote voted.
