Egypt-Cyprus cooperation in oil, natural gas

Egypt and Cyprus signed on Tuesday a joint cooperation protocol between the two countries in the domain of prospection for oil and natural gas as well as exchanging expertise.
Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmy, asserted after signing the protocol with Cypriot Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Yiorgos Lillikas Egypt's readiness to provide support and technical assistance to the Cypriot side in all the fields of oil and natural gas industry.
