Al-Baath: US campaign targets Syria and Lebanon, Khouri says

Secretary General of the Syrian-Lebanese Higher Council stressed that an American campaign against the region targets Syria and Lebanon in particular, due to the joint cooperation and coordination between the two states which confronts American projects that aimed to re-demarcate the map of the region in a way that suits its concepts in the framework of the so-called the Greater Middle East.
He told al-Baath daily on Tuesday that the two states need to unify their stances and to review a future vision for their relations based on al-Taif Agreement and the Fraternity, Cooperation and Coordination Agreement.
